Common Controller issues:

Issue: Main Controller displays “System Fault”

1. Check to see if the hydrogen sensor(s) LED is illuminated on the main controller. If not complete the following steps:

a. Remove the main controller from the enclosure by losing the (4) thumb screws in the controller enclosure.  This will allow the technician access to the I/O board.

b. Check to make sure the LED on Hydrogen sensor is working. It should flash slowly; it comes on about once every 10 seconds.

i. If the light is not flashing your hydrogen sensor is not working and The RJ45 cable may not be seated properly.

c. Check to make sure all connections are wired to the correct locations on the rear I/O board. Consult the H2 Zero installation and operation manual that came with the unit. That document is also attached to this article.

d. Check to make sure the 8p8c Modular Jack (RJ-45) connections for the sensor(s) and fan unit are fully seated in rear I/O board.

e. Check connectivity on the Cat-5 cables between the sensors and the rear I/O and the fan unit and rear I/O.

f. Power down using the switch on the rear I/O board.

g. Check to make sure the controller ribbon cable is fully seated on the rear I/O board.

h. Restart the controller by toggling the on off switch on the rear I/O board.

i. If you complete all of these steps and the  issue is still not resolved contact comm/net support .
